Bij een heup prothese zou Loki eigenlijk een soort betere cyborg versie van zichzelf worden.
Er is mij verteld dat er ook goedkopere prothesen bestaan, maar die zijn gemaakt uit ander materiaal en met lager slaagpercentage. Voor €400 verschil per heup heb ik gekozen voor de optie met de meeste slaagkans.

Er is in feite geen minimumbedrag en elk beetje helpt. Het crowdfunding platform zelf kan ervoor kiezen om met een minimum bedrag te werken om het interessant te houden voor het goede doel. Zo is het namelijk wel het geval dat per donatie er een % en forfaitaire vergoeding naar het platform gaat.

WERE THERE ANY CHEAPER OPTIONS OR CHEAPER PROSTHETICS?
Yes, there was a surgical option for removing the femoral head, but that option entailed more risk + continous pain would be more likely.
With a hip prosthetic Loki should become a cyborg version of himself.
I have been told there are cheaper prosthetics, but they are made from a different material and also have a lower succes rate. For €400 difference per hip I have decided to take the option with highest success rate.

In theory there is no minimum amount and every little bit helps.
